The team at Mummy’s Star have worked with women and their families throughout the pregnancy continuum and are in a great position to provide advice and support for health professionals who come in contact with women, and their families, diagnosed with cancer during pregnancy or the postnatal period.

There may be some challenges, but we can support you through these periods and provide you with information that may assist you to gain the very best care for the woman and her family.

A multidisciplinary approach is the key to success and outcome and having people who have the recognised skills to support you will enhance the care you can provide.

Our award-winning team consists of individuals with lived experience in this field and advisors/professionals who will be able to assist you to make a difference in the lives of the families in your care.

You know your role and the women in your care better than anyone and what we offer at Mummy’s Star is simply an additional layer of support for you.

Caring for a family with a diagnosis of cancer during or soon after pregnancy can be a first for many and with it comes many questions, uncertainties and challenges. If you wish to talk anything through, then please do not hesitate to contact us. We won’t tell you how to do your job, but we will listen and can offer ideas/options to help get around some of the difficult things you will experience.
