Peer support for partners through sharing your experiences
We facilitate a private, closed group for the partners of women living with serious/long term illness called 'Supporting You, Support Yours' and this can be joined at any point. Some members contribute on a regular basis, but some prefer to observe or just ask occasional questions.
Our CEO/Founder Pete moderates and adds members to the forum. It is linked with Dad Matters UK Project.
No medical advice is given on the forum due to everybody's diagnosis, treatment and side effects being different.
The forum is mutually supportive with a whole range of topics, worries, sadnesses and celebrations discussed/shared. There is always someone around for a bit of company, day or night. If we notice that you are having a particularly difficult time, then we may private message you to see if there is any further individualised help we can offer.
