Women's Challenge Walk

This unique challenge hike takes place in the Dark Peak, starting and ended in Glossop, and raises vital funds for Mummy's Star.
It's a 14-mile circular route that takes in three of the area’s iconic trig points, two additional summits, expansive Dark Peak moorland, two plane crashes, and some of the finest views the Peak District has to offer.
This is a challenging full-day hike suitable for people with a good level of fitness and some previous walking experience.
You'll be covering varied terrain, including long stretches of open moorland. The route includes some sections of sustained climbing, uneven ground, and some short off-path areas where the terrain can become particularly boggy depending on recent weather.
While there are regular opportunities to stop, we'll maintain a steady group pace throughout the day to ensure we complete the route safely within daylight hours.
If you're comfortable walking for a full day in the hills and are looking for a rewarding challenge, this event is for you.
This challenge is open to all women, including cisgender and transgender women, and non-binary people who feel comfortable participating in such a group.
Join the challenge for £35 per person. You'll receive all the key information you need, including details on the route, terrain, kit list, safety guidance, and FAQs.
You are then invited to create a fundraising page and share this amazing challenge with your friends, family and followers, as an opportunity to raise funds and awareness for Mummy's Star.
