The Great North Run is the best half marathon event in the UK!
A huge party fills the streets of Newcastle to cheer on participants as you race 13.1 miles from Newcastle central to South Shields. To take part you need to apply for a ballot place or a charity place.
We offer a limited number of free charity places for the Great North Run, to form our fantastic #TeamMummysStar.

Remember: if you receive a ballot place you will be responsible for covering the registration fee. As this event is organised by a third party, you should refer to their communications and instructions if you have questions or concerns, both before and after the event.
