our impact

“Your organisation has been a beacon of hope and comfort during an incredibly challenging time in my life. Each gesture from your team has reminded me that I am not alone.”
In 2024/25 we continued to walk alongside mums and birthing parents as they navigate cancer at the most vulnerable time.

Through emotional, practical and financial support we helped them to be informed and encouraged. Peer support ensured that even in their darkest moments, they never felt alone.

"You may not realise it, but talking to you and getting all that stuff out in the open was a HUGE relief for me. Definitely felt like a weight had been lifted when I woke up today."
Our amazing Support Team engaged in over 3000 separate communications with mums in need. From a listening ear, to meaningful signposting; each interaction provided personalised support when it was needed most.

"I was able to pay for mental health support via counselling while I was on a very long waiting list for NHS support. I was in a dark place at the time and I don’t know if I’d still be alive if it wasn’t for this support."
108 small financial grants were given to families in need, to help towards additional costs of cancer, such as transport and parking for hospital, childcare, or buying equipment to help mums care easily for their babies after treatment or surgery. The continued high costs of living have meant that these grants have made a real difference to struggling families.
Knowledge and education is important for mums and for healthcare professionals
Knowledge is the key to the best possible care and support for anyone with cancer.

We hosted 7 Ask The Expert sessions to bring expert advice and understanding to our mums, on topics that matter to them; including 'Returning to Work', 'Perinatal Mental Health' and 'Pregnancy Loss & Cancer'.

Our Cancer & Pregnancy training sessions were delivered to 3,052 attendees across 23 different universities, and 9 hospitals, health trusts or medical network groups.

None of this would be possible without our incredible supporters!
Our supporters really outdid themselves with an incredible year of fundraising activities! From wing walks and music nights, to running challenges and a Boxing Day dip... amazing memories were made and a huge benefit to the lives of mums and families affected by cancer diagnosed in or around pregnancy.
