Danielle completed 'the toughest race in the world' in just over 6 days.
This gruelling non-stop, 268 mile race included 10,000 meters of elevation and
she raised over £4000!

I had this unshakeable focus and from the second day I knew I would finish it. It meant I really did enjoy the whole experience. You helped my best friend when she was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years back and she said the support made her feel not alone during an obviously really awful time. So I knew I'd always raise some money for Mummy's Star when the right challenge came along. I’m so thankful that charities like you are around."

"Running the London Marathon has been something I've wanted to do for as long as I can remember...I knew that the training and the race itself would push my limits both physically and mentally but it also presented me the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of others. I wanted to raise money for a local charity and Mummy's Star had come to my attention through the efforts of friends who had previously supported them. While cancer touches the lives of many, the thought of navigating it alongside pregnancy is a daunting reality I can only empathise with. As I delved into the stories shared on Mummy's Star website, the significance of their work became undeniably clear and I was determined to play my part, however small,  in supporting their invaluable mission."
