"Good jokes are rooted in human truths. We believe great advertising is too. That’s why we host our 'isobelly Laughs' comedy night every few months at isobel. It’s a free night of laughs, but also a chance to give back – this time, to Mummy’s Star, around Mother’s Day. We’re proud to have raised £500 to support mums and birthing parents going through cancer. A brilliant cause that made the night even more meaningful." - isobel Creative Agency

Sarah - 100k to remission challenge
March

Sarah committed to running 100k during chemotherapy, within weeks of birthing her beautiful baby boy Teddy.

She says: "I wasn’t sure if it was possible let alone If I could do it. Each chemotherapy cycle presented me with new challenges. I was very sick. Sleep had become a distant memory such as these things do with a new baby. I had pain in my bones, even between my toes (I’d never experienced anything like it). I was exhausted. I didn’t let any of this dampen my determination though.
Mummy’s Star have been amazing during my breast cancer journey. I hope the funds raised will help uplift others in similar situations."

Approx. 250-300 people turned out on the day. Kerry’s two children - Rico and Scarlett - walked out with the teams and there was a minute silence for Kerry before the game began. Mummy's Star United won the match 2-0!
Tommy, Kerry's cousin, says: "It was a brilliant turn out and brilliant to get the win for Mummy’s Star. A very enjoyable afternoon of which we’ve had great feedback and the lads in my Team actually want to keep this a regular thing so it’s something we’ll be doing yearly."
