£50 could pay for our Information and Support Workers to support the partners of our mums and birthing parents for one week. While doing all they can to care for their loved ones, partners must also deal with their own fears and emotional turmoil. Through one-to-one communications and access to an online forum Mummy's Star provides reassurance, a space to share fears and concerns, and practical advice.
If you choose, we can send you a Mummy's Star pin, information leaflet and a festive gift tag for every gift you purchase. Send it to your loved one so they know what a difference they have made to mums and families in need, this Christmas!
Be sure to add promo code 'GIVEAGIFT' at the checkout to include free postage on your donation.
"Mummy’s Star offers support for dads as well. You can call them and talk about how you’re finding things if you’re struggling or feeling lost, and you’ll be listened to in a completely non-judgemental manner. Mummy’s Star is there for both parents."
a Dad, supported since 2019
Donations are assigned to 'pots' designated for a particular type of support. Your donation will be assigned to the most appropriate pot, based on the gift description, then used to bring that type of support to mums, birthing parents and families affected by cancer in and around pregnancy.

WHO WE ARE
Meet the mums we support and read their stories
The news of a pregnancy or a recent birth is an exciting time for all prospective and existing parents. It can, however, be cruelly interrupted by the news of a cancer diagnosis and the worry that this brings to both you and your wider family.
Mummy’s Star has been set up specifically to offer support if you find yourself in this situation and we hope that by providing comprehensive information and links in this section, it will help you to get the support you need, access services that are available to you but most importantly know that you are not alone when you are going through this.
The information contained here is reviewed on an ongoing basis and will also be added to as new information becomes known about cancer in pregnancy. Likewise, as we receive more enquiries, we will add to the FAQs section in order to be able to try and answer as many of your questions in one place as possible.
Please contact us here and we can discuss more specifically how we can support you and your family.
